Centimetres, inches underneath. These are your body measurements, not the flat measurements of the garment.
How to measure
- Bust around the fullest part, tape level all the way round and flat across your back. Wear the bra you would wear with the piece.
- Waist around your natural waist, the narrowest point, usually just above the belly button. Stand normally and breathe out, don't hold it in.
- Hip around the fullest part of your hips and seat, roughly 20 cm below your waist.
Keep the tape snug but not tight. You should be able to slide one finger underneath. Measure over underwear rather than clothing, and get someone to help if you can.
Choosing between two sizes
- Your measurements will often land in different rows. Go with your largest measurement. A waist can be taken in, a bust cannot be let out.
- Between two sizes, take the larger one. Customers rarely tell us something was too big. They do tell us when it was too small.
- Fitted and stretch styles sit close to the body, so size up if you prefer room.
- Relaxed, oversized, wide-leg, smocked and elastic-waist styles have ease built in, so your measured size is usually right.

You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return it.
Items need to be unworn and in original condition with tags attached. Email hello@annaandsophie.com with your order number and we'll send return instructions. Please wait for authorisation before sending anything back.
If an item is faulty or damaged, we cover return postage and replace or refund it in full. If you've simply changed your mind, the return postage is yours and the original delivery charge isn't refunded.
Once your return arrives and is checked, refunds usually reach your original payment method within 7 business days.
